The Western Colorado Watercolor Society is devoted to the promotion, education, and exhibition of all types of watermedia painting.  The organization meets five times a year featuring demonstrations,critiques and other programs of interest. The Society also offers members' exhibits, workshops by nationally known artists, and hosts ROCKIES WEST NATIONAL, the annual National Juried Watercolor Exhibit held at the Art Center in Grand Junction in March of each year. Membership is $30.00 per year. Five newsletters a year are sent to members and are also posted on the WCWS website.Images from the ROCKIES WEST NATIONAL EXHIBITIONS are also shown on the site and members are offered their own pages on the site or have a link to their own websites.
