To apply for a grant award, this page allows you to download the "Criteria" and the "Application" which are PDF files that you can read with Adobe's Acrobat Reader software. If you do not already have the Acrobat Reader on your computer, you can obtain a free copy from the Adobe website


OUR MISSION  
The mission of the Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture shall be to help create and nurture a climate and conditions in Grand Junction in which the arts and culture can thrive and grow. The Commission is dedicated to developing and improving the quality, quantity, accessibility, and affordability of arts and culture to the citizens of the Grand Junction area.


MAKING A GRANT APPLICATION  
To apply for a possible grant award, you must download and print the Grants Criteria (a PDF file) and the Grants Application (in either the PDF or Word document format) from the links below. The Grants Application file contains Instructions you must explicitly follow in preparing your application.

For your convenience, the Grants Application can be downloaded in either of two formats:

  • PDF format - download and print this file if you will use a typewriter to type your data onto the 2-page Application Form. (You cannot use your computer to enter data into a PDF file.)

  • Word DOC format - download this file if you will use a computer (and have Word software) to enter your data into the form. (In this case, your entered data will replace all or part of the blank lines.)

Be sure to explicitly follow the provided Instructions when completing the 2-page Application form and other required documents.


DELIVERING A GRANT APPLICATION  
Emailed or faxed applications will NOT be accepted. Your application form and other required documents must be postal-mailed or hand delivered so that they arrive ON OR BEFORE THE DEADLINE at the Commission office located in Lincoln Park in Grand Junction.
