Biography & Artist's Statements

DEBORAH COPE

Copeart8@gmail.com

My life, my heart, my world is defined by color. At age eight a career as an artist began. The mediums I used were anything that trailed color. I painted glass shards, rocks, walls, my shoes, my mom’s shoes and anything else with a surface. At 65, I continue to leave a trail of color that brings life to the walls of the Fruita Library, St. Mary’s Hospital, the McDonald’s Corporate Headquarters and hundreds of private collections. My world is defined by color, and an element of my soul is defined by my audience’s reaction to it.
