Biography & Artist's Statements

Penny has lived on wildlife refuges from the Canadian Border to the Mexican Border. Sharing her husband's life as a professional wildlifer enabled her to see and experience wildlife as few are fortunate enough to do. She communicates that which she sees, that some look at but do not really see. Often her viewers come away feeling that they know something about the subject of the picture beyond the obvious.

A gentleman studying her work said simply, "Penny, your work makes me feel good."

She competes professionally and has been accepted in prestigious juried wildlife shows such as High Plains Audoubon Art Show and the Easton Waterfowl Show in Easton, Maryland. Her work was part of a traveling art show for the Wyoming Conservation Stamp competition for a year.
