Biography & Artist's Statements

Donna is a multi-faceted artist and musician whose experience spans more than three decades. Her work is remarkably bold with painterly effects in oils, acrylics and Alcohol Inks. Her background and education range from photography, to lost-wax bronze study and the performing arts.

Western landscape, wildlife and macro wildflowers are her photographic specialities. She began sketching her surroundings in childhood, spending much of her life out-of-doors. At a young age, she lived abroad in Japan and Brazil, where she developed a love of foreign art and music and was especially influenced by the exuberant African style of Samba in Santos, Brazil and the subtle and understated landscapes of the Japanese.

A Landscape, event, and portrait photographer, Donna's award winning work is available in Death Valley National Park, John Muir Woods National Monument, the Colorado National Monument, the National Park Foundation. Her photography is also available at the Veteran's Art Center and at their online site: http://veteransartcenter.com and www.donnafullerton.com
