Mending A Broken Heart Frita on the Nile The Letter

Biography & Artist's Statements

Teresa has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dickinson State University, North Dakota. She has been painting for over 30 years.

Teresa is a multimedia artist with works ranging from acrylics to collage, pen and inks to handbuilt sculpturals peices. She likes to utilize recycled materials, as in assemblages or painting old furniture. Her studio is open to the public and also serves as a gallery for her work but also a venue for other artists to participate in group exhibitions.

Over time Teresa has developed a style that is uniquely her own and for subject matter she paints places to remind us that there are many worlds, each as real as the next if we can only imagine it.  She paints places of whimsy and beauty, of gentleness and good feeling.

Teresa paints places where she could see herself visiting and even staying awhile. She hopes you the viewer will be drawn there too.
