Biography & Artist's Statements

Biography Steven Marshall was singled out at an early age for his exceptional natural talent and inspiration for anything artistic. Early on his mother was approached by his art teacher asking her to let him study under an advanced tutor as his abilities were beyond her experience. From the first art competition he entered, his pieces were winning and placing with no exclusions. As he took on adult responsibilities and started a family he felt he needed a guaranteed income to care for them. He turned his talents to creating beautiful and original custom woodworking. He soon found his talents sought after in this field and continued on for many years to come. He expressed his art in what he designed and created for clients homes. The last decade found him moving to Colorado and becoming a "hobby rancher" where he found a renewed inspiration for fine art. In a few short years his art has been internationally sought after with pieces soon finding their way into private and corporate collections all over the world. Steven has also had requests in the US and internationally for charitable organizations, and has given many pieces to causes he believes in, some to be used as logos, and some for fund raising. His inspiration comes from everyday life, and everywhere he travels. Starting his art back up in 2011 has now become and International Award winning artist.
